Hi, I’m Kazandra
I provide compassionate online and in-person counselling in Edinburgh and beyond. Together, we’ll work through whatever’s weighing on you, in a safe and supportive space.
Therapy that meets you where you are.
You’ve already taken a brave first step. Starting therapy means you’re ready for change, growth, or simply a deeper understanding of yourself. Whether you’re facing challenges right now, navigating long-standing struggles, or working toward future goals, I’m here to walk alongside you.
Together, we’ll explore who you are and move toward the life – and the version of yourself – you want to create with greater self-awareness, confidence, and inner peace.
I offer weekly online session and in-person therapy in Edinburgh at the same time each week.
My Approach
As someone who has sat on both sides of the therapy chair, I know how important it is to feel safe, seen, and accepted. I’m dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming and respectful space where you can express yourself openly and feel supported.
I work from a person-centred foundation, which means I’ll meet you with empathy, honesty, and acceptance, allowing you to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. I also draw on psychodynamic ideas to explore how unconscious patterns and past experiences might be shaping your present, helping you make sense of repeated patterns that feel hard to shift.
Above all, my role is to accompany you with care and curiosity as you move toward deeper self-understanding and a more connected, meaningful life.

How it Works
Free Consultation
Finding the right therapist is key to feeling supported and understood. To help you decide if we're a good fit, I offer a free 20-minute telephone consultation. This is a chance to ask questions and get a sense of how we might work together.
Book Your First Session
If you choose to go ahead, we’ll arrange your first 50-minute session at a time that works for you. I offer both online and in-person appointments. Sessions are held weekly, at the same time each week, to provide consistency and structure.
Fees & Payment
Counselling sessions are £60 per 50-minute appointment, with payment accepted via bank transfer. I also offer a low-cost rate of £45 for those on reduced incomes. Please get in touch to see if a space is currently available.
Together, we’ll make sense of what’s
on your mind.
FAQ
-
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll ask a few questions about what’s bringing you to therapy and what you hope to explore. There’s no pressure to share everything at once – we’ll go at your pace. You’re also welcome to ask me any questions about how I work.
-
Each session lasts 50 minutes and typically takes place once a week, at the same time each week.
-
That depends on your needs and goals. Some people come for a short period to focus on a specific issue, while others choose to work longer-term. We’ll check in regularly to see how things are going and what feels right for you.
-
Yes, your privacy is very important to me. Everything you share is confidential, with a few legal exceptions – for example, if there’s a serious risk of harm to you or someone else. I’ll explain this in more detail in our first session.
-
Life can be unpredictable, and I understand that things come up. If you need to cancel or reschedule, I ask for at least 72 hours’ notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 72 hours’ notice are still charged in full, as the time has been set aside for you.
-
That’s completely normal. It takes courage to begin, and it’s okay to feel uncertain. Therapy is a space where you don’t have to have all the answers – just bring yourself, as you are.
-
Anyone feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or wanting to understand themselves better can benefit from counselling. Whether you’re dealing with difficult emotions, life changes, or simply want to grow and develop personally, therapy offers a safe space to explore and heal.

Counselling sessions are £60 for a 50-minute appointment, with payment made via bank transfer. To help make therapy more accessible, I offer a limited number of concession spaces at £45.
Please get in touch to enquire about current concession availability. -
If you’re feeling unsafe or in immediate crisis, please contact emergency services or a crisis helpline right away. While I’m here to support you, online counselling is not an emergency service. If you’re already a client and unsure where to turn, I can help connect you with additional support.

Sessions take place securely via video calls. All you need is a private space, a device with a camera and microphone, and a reliable internet connection. Many clients find online therapy just as effective and convenient as in-person sessions, especially when balancing busy schedules.
-
To protect your privacy, I won’t approach you or acknowledge that I know you unless you say hello first. If you do, I’ll keep things light and friendly, and we can save therapy topics for our next session. In short: you set the tone and I will respect whatever feels most comfortable for you.
-
As your therapist, I’m not here to give you advice or tell you how to live your life as I believe you’re the expert on your own experiences. My role is to walk alongside you with curiosity and care, offering fresh perspectives and creating a safe space for you to explore and discover the path that feels right for you.
